Days of Our Lives<\/em> may be a daily installment, but for some of us, that\u2019s not always enough. So what\u2019s the solution? Days<\/em> RPG.<\/span><\/p>\n

For those of you who do not know what that is, it\u2019s a role-playing game created by fans, wherein the fans take on the roles of the characters of their choice. There are some original characters (fan-created, who have never been on the show), as well as many characters, past and present, who have been fan-favorites from Days<\/em> itself.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The storyline on the RPG is similar to that on-screen, but different in many ways as well. For the benefit of anyone interested in following the RP storyline, I\u2019ll give a brief outline of what\u2019s been happening in our storyline.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Daniel<\/a> and Chloe<\/a> are the characters that I\u2019m personally most involved with, seeing as I play the character of Daniel Jonas on RPG. In our game, these two characters have finally gotten married in a twitter ceremony a few days ago. Chloe is pregnant with twins, which may be Daniel\u2019s, but could also be Brady\u2019s<\/a> due to a scheme enacted by Sami<\/a> and Vivian. She is currently on bedrest, though she keeps getting up and walking around. As a result, she ended up being shot in the leg by the brother of a man who had been stalking her. She was shot with a demonic bullet, making her angry and evil for 24 hours.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Chloe has also had issues with Iago James<\/a> (an original character added via facebook), who has kidnapped her and professed his love for her on numerous occasions. However, Iago is a psychopath and has also kidnapped Melanie<\/a> and thrown her off a bridge.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Recently, Iago nearly died of an abdominal blood clot, which seems to have given him a new perspective on life. Daniel was conflicted because he had to save the man\u2019s life despite everything he has done to their family. He successfully operated on Iago, but with a few complications.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Brady has relapsed into drugs and is currently in rehab. He is still with Arianna<\/a>, but he still has feelings for Chloe. As previously mentioned, it is still unsure whether Chloe\u2019s twins are Brady\u2019s or Daniel\u2019s. There has also been mention that Arianna may be pregnant with Brady\u2019s baby or Daniel\u2019s, due to the same scheme.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Melanie is dating Nathan in our story. Philip was dead, but he recently came back, which doesn\u2019t really have an explanation to it. Mel and Nate are doing well together. They were on and off for awhile, but are currently on again.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mel recently went into the hospital to be a donor for her brother, Nicholas Alamain<\/a> (Carly\u2019s son with Lawrence, for those who don\u2019t know Carly\u2019s history), who has leukemia. Melanie is doing well after donating, but Nicky is still touch-and-go.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Nicholas has a fiance, named Ash<\/a>, and a son, Tristain. Both members of his family are original characters. Ash is a doctor, as well as Melanie\u2019s best friend from school. Nicky and Ash have been together for many years.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Nicky\u2019s relationship with his mother and sister are sort of strained. They are getting better, but not entirely close yet. He and Carly<\/a> had some friction because of Lawrence\u2019s death and the way in which he was killed. He and Melanie did not get along for a very long time, but since he\u2019s been sick, she\u2019s been very worried about him.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As well, in our game, Carly is not with Bo. Instead, she is with Jennifer Horton. She, Daniel, Melanie and Chloe are all fairly close.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Our game focuses mainly on these characters, though there are times when characters such as Hope and Ciara<\/a> have storylines – like when Ciara wanted to live with Bo and Carly instead of Hope, or when Hope set fire to an apartment building while Daniel, Chloe, Melanie, Nathan, Jen and Carly were inside. All sorts of characters appear, whether with storylines or as supporting characters to help out the others. Many of the players have more than one role. For example, I play four characters on a consistent basis. My main role is as Daniel Jonas, but I also play Nicole Walker-DiMera, Hope Brady and Dr. Marlena Evans (who mostly appears when Melanie seeks therapy and advice).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

If you would like to follow our RP game, you may find us on facebook (where we play under the character names) or twitter. To follow us on twitter, you may want to follow the players – who, for the most part, do not play under their character\u2019s name. The players are: Melanie_Layton<\/a> (Melanie Layton, Vivian Alamain), WeBelieveCC<\/a> (Carly Manning, Ash Brady), Doc_Horns<\/a> (Jennifer Horton), MeggieMagoo316<\/a> (Nathan Horton), ChloeLaneJonas<\/a> (Chloe Lane), ValaBlack<\/a> (Daniel Jonas, Nicole Walker-DiMera, Hope Brady, Marlena Evans), NicholasAlamain<\/a> (Nicholas Alamain), ariondays<\/a> (Arianna Hernandez), and Doodlebug1229<\/a> (Ciara Brady). There may be others added off and on, and some players may take on excess roles when necessary.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
