Welcome back Alphas fans,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Syfy<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

All in all, our grade for Alphas is a solid \u201cA Plus\u201d<\/a> and what follows in our analysis here on why we believe that is so!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Subsequent to eight months of imprisonment, and after Doctor Lee Rosen (David Strathairn<\/a>) unexpectedly announced to the world the existence of Alphas<\/a>, the government classified him as a \u201cpsychologically unstable\u201d as an excuse to keep him captive subsequent to his outburst. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Alphas<\/a>Our Alphas<\/a> leader Doctor Rosen was kept secreted away under the influence of drugs in an effort to make him docile and cooperative. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Thankfully, at the end of episode one of season two, our Alphas team were liberated to work together once again. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The primary factors the Alphas must consider are the challenges they will face including internal discord, team suspicions, forbidden romance, hidden agendas and what makes the series so fun, Alphas humor! \"Alphas<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In the series season opener two of our favorite characters with extraordinary human powers, Dr. Rosen and Gary (Ryan Cartwright<\/a>) were imprisoned at a secret government research facility known as Binghamton \u201chospital\u201d where all known suspected Alphas are being imprisoned for their own good, so say the authorities.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Like most Alphas fans, we were quite pleased that Danielle \u201cDani\u201d Rosen (Kathleen Munroe<\/a>) had returned in season one to help free her father. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Alphas<\/a>However as we have learned, “Dani” is working with Stanton Parrish (John Pyper-Ferguson<\/a>) who has his own “Alphas” agenda. In the meantime, Dani becomes romantically involved with Cameron Hicks (Warren Christie<\/a>) to the distain of Nina Theroux (Laura Mennell<\/a>) after her relationship with Hicks fizzles from her \u201cpushing\u201d him into an intimate involvement in the first place.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The tension between Hicks and Theroux and the true nature of their involvement is left for a reveal in this episode, but it is clear that this tension will play a central role in the teams interaction in \u201cThe Quick and the Dead\u201d as well as during season two.\"Alphas<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In \u201cWake Up Call\u201d, when Agent Nathan Clay\u2019s (Mahershala Ali<\/a>) hand is forced due to \u201can (Alphas) incident\u201d, Doctor Rosen\u2019s team is reassembled to thwart the criminal Alphas. Bill Harken (Malik Yoba<\/a>) distrusts Clay who has \u201corders\u201d from higher up the chain of command to reconstitute Doctor Rosen\u2019s Alphas team. Good on you Malik, errr Bill!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Alphas<\/a>Doctor Rosen informs Agent Clay he is in agreement so long as he, Rosen, has control of the Alphas<\/a> team, including recruitment of any needed Alphas to accomplish the tasks required. This sequence effectively sets up the second season sure to be filled with action, mystery, suspense, adventure and romance!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Before continuing our analysis of \u201cThe Quick and the Dead\u201d, courtesy of Syfy we include the promotional trailers for the next great Alphas episode, \u201cAlpha Dogs\u201d including a great guest star, a new Alpha named “Kat” portrayed by the lovely Erin Way<\/a>!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
