\"Gatecon<\/a>I recently covered an exciting event in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Gatecon 2016 The Homecoming<\/a>! <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

During Gatecon 2016<\/a> in Vancouver, the organizers invited Stargate<\/a> actors who had also appeared in, or had become regular talent for the show in Dark Matter’s<\/a> first two seasons. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

WormholeRiders News Agency<\/a> were invited to interview the actors who were available. Thus, Roger Cross<\/a>, Jodelle Ferland<\/a> and Mike Dopud<\/a> were happy to talk with us about their time in Stargate<\/a> and now, Dark Matter<\/a>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/object><\/p>\n

\"Click<\/a>The entire event, Gatecon 2016 The Homecoming<\/a>, was set up to support Sea Shepherd Conservation Society (SSCS)<\/a>, an international non-profit, marine wildlife conservation organization. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

People from at least 26 countries attended, demonstrating that there is still much love for Stargate<\/a> out there. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It was also very interesting to learn more about Sea Shepherd<\/a> and the good work they do, helping to preserve the world\u2019s oceans.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Click<\/a>Roger Cross<\/a> has been very busy. Many of us first met him as a young actor in small roles for Sliders<\/a>, Stargate SG1<\/a>, and 21 Jump Street<\/a>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Roger kept on working and building up his resume until he was involved in meatier roles more often. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

You can now find Roger on some of our favorite shows as a regular, or recurring character – the original X-Files<\/a>, and First Wave<\/a>, to Just Cause<\/a>, 24<\/a>, Continuum<\/a> and now, as Six on Dark Matter<\/a>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Click<\/a>Jodelle Ferland<\/a> had a somewhat earlier start in her career. She was born in 1994, and her first fore into acting began in 1999, so she began her career at the age of 5. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Jodelle also appeared in Smallville<\/a>, Dead Like Me<\/a> and Supernatural<\/a>, and of course as 7 year old Adria on Stargate SG-1<\/a>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

She later appeared in movies like Twilight<\/a>, Cabin in the Woods<\/a> and the Video Game Bio Shock 2<\/a>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Jodelle’s latest success is, of course, as Five on Dark Matter<\/a>!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Click<\/a>Mike Dopud<\/a> joined us as well. He has also been very busy. Besides his guest appearances on Stargate SG 1<\/a> and Stargate Atlantis<\/a>, Mike Dopud has also appeared in Stargate Universe<\/a>, Battlestar Galactica <\/a>and Supernatural<\/a>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mike has appeared as a recurring character on popular American series, Mistresses<\/a> and Cedar Cove<\/a>. Recently, he appeared as a recurring character on Dark Matter<\/a>. His character, Arax Nero, although disgraced, did not die. So, it is quite possible that he will be back.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
