First up are a pair of classic Adidas running sneakers, a classic iPod Shuffle, and the good ole classic jog through the woods to help clear ones\u2019 head. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Calibri'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Calibri';\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri';\">Though, in this jog, Dalton Taggart (played by <a title=\"Darren McGuire IMDB\" href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0570180\/\" target=\"_blank\">Darren McGuire<\/a>) manages to not only clear his head, but to lose it entirely when he falls into a sink hole of some sort. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Calibri'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Calibri';\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri';\">From one head clearing practice to another, we are next shown Irisa (<a title=\"Stephanie Leonidas IMDB\" href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0503060\/\" target=\"_blank\">Stephanie Leonidas<\/a>) performing some Irathient head clearing in a fashion quite similar to Tai-chi practiced by humans on Earth before the invasion.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Calibri'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Calibri';\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri';\">Having helped to defeat the Volge in the previous episode, the Spirit Riders are more welcome in town than they had been previously. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Calibri'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Calibri';\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri';\">However, that does not mean that the Spirit Riders do not put the entire town of <a title=\"Click to learn more about Defiance at the official web site!\" href=\"http:\/\/www.defiance.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Defiance<\/a> on edge simply with their presence. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Calibri'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Calibri';\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri';\">The potential for friction is because the Spirit Riders are prideful, stubborn, hot tempered beings that do not take well do being criticized about anything.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13pt; Their conversation is interrupted by Irisa\u2019s hailer, a call from Nolan (<a title=\"Grant Bowler Twitter\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GrantBowler\" target=\"_blank\">Grant Bowler<\/a>) to grab Tommy (<a title=\"Dewshane Williams Twitter\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DewshaneW\" target=\"_blank\">Dewshane Williams<\/a>) and for them to meet him at Bissell Pass to investigate a dead body.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Calibri'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Calibri';\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri';\">Upon arrival, Nolan is recounting the scene to Irisa and Tommy, to the point of saying that the body was effectively ripped apart, bones crushed, and \u201cmarrow sucked dry\u201d. As Nolan continues, Irisa is distracted by a lone butterfly, a Monarch, on a small, jutting tree branch. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Calibri'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Calibri';\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri';\">We find ourselves in a vision of Irisa, blurred and broken pieces of the past. Nolan goes after her, and as he arrives on scene, Irisa is in the middle of a full blown vision, and it is all he can do to comfort and collect her as the vision runs its course. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Calibri'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Calibri';\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri';\">Nolan and Irisa arrive back at Defiance township proper and Irisa is determined to find Sukar, determined to find Rynn as Irisa has concluded that Rynn is behind the Hellbug attacks.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Calibri'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Calibri';\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri';\"><a title=\"Defiance S1x03 - Vision quest\" href=\"http:\/\/www.defiance.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-large wp-image-465\" title=\"Defiance S1x03 - Vision quest\" src=\"http:\/\/wormholeriders.net\/defiance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Defiance-S1x03-Vision-quest-400x217.jpg\" alt=\"Defiance S1x03 - Vision quest\" width=\"400\" height=\"217\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wormholeriders.net\/defiance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Defiance-S1x03-Vision-quest-400x217.jpg 400w, https:\/\/wormholeriders.net\/defiance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Defiance-S1x03-Vision-quest-256x139.jpg 256w, https:\/\/wormholeriders.net\/defiance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Defiance-S1x03-Vision-quest-320x174.jpg 320w, https:\/\/wormholeriders.net\/defiance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Defiance-S1x03-Vision-quest.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a>Sukar believes that Irisa has been given a gift of sight, that it is an Irzu, a god given gift from their creators of the deities that they believe in. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Calibri'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Calibri';\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri';\">To prove this and seek more answers; most pressing is the answer to where Rynn is. They gear up and head out to \u201cOld 36\u201d to capture Rynn before she gets the chance to do more harm. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Calibri'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Calibri';\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri';\">A malfunctioning elevator ride and liberally applied Hellbug feces later, the group arrives at where they want to be and comes to find themselves in Hellbug central \u2013 complete with Momma Hellbug. As they had previously spread the Hellbug stakko on themselves, their presence was masked to Momma and her babies.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Calibri'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Calibri';\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri';\"><a title=\"Defiance S1x03 - What is that smell\" href=\"http:\/\/www.defiance.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-large wp-image-470\" title=\"Defiance S1x03 - What is that smell\" src=\"http:\/\/wormholeriders.net\/defiance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Defiance-S1x03-What-is-that-smell-400x217.jpg\" alt=\"Defiance S1x03 - What is that smell\" width=\"400\" height=\"217\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wormholeriders.net\/defiance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Defiance-S1x03-What-is-that-smell-400x217.jpg 400w, https:\/\/wormholeriders.net\/defiance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Defiance-S1x03-What-is-that-smell-256x139.jpg 256w, https:\/\/wormholeriders.net\/defiance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Defiance-S1x03-What-is-that-smell-320x174.jpg 320w, https:\/\/wormholeriders.net\/defiance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Defiance-S1x03-What-is-that-smell.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a>Nolan starts to issue orders \u2013 for Tommy to fix the elevator and Irisa to start to set the charges- and as he and Sukar are looking for Rynn, she finds them, shooting Sukar. Holding an IED of the attack pheromones, Rynn listens to Irisa explain all that happened at her farm as a kid \u2013 how Rynn\u2019s parents were killed, their land taken; trying to plead with her that her vengeance had been paid. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Calibri'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Calibri';\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri';\">Wanting nothing to do with Irisa and the rest of them, Rynn tosses the grenade. Nolan picks it up, tossing it at Momma Hellbug, making certain that their getaway is as clean as can be \u2013 the babies attack the Momma, as that\u2019s where the attack pheromones were now originating. In the eyes of the town, Defiance has begun to right a wrong and begun to write a new history. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Calibri'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Calibri';\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri';\">After the ordeal, it is a clearly time to stand together, and to be together.
