\"Helix<\/a><\/p>\n

Welcome back WormholeRiders<\/a> seeking answers in the Helix<\/a>!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Helix<\/a>Well, this is new. I do not ever recall a television series creating such a shift in locations as Helix<\/a> has. This year the series filmed most of the action on location, rather than a sound stage.
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Or, perhaps, it was the fact that the show did not transition to the island that bothered me. The move from one location to another was confusing at first.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Last season, of course, Dr. Allan Farragut (Billy Campbell<\/a>) and his team from the CDC were engaged in fighting the Narvik crisis in the Ilaria Corporation Arctic Biosystems facility. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Helix<\/a>The crisis centered around a virus that swept through the town and the lab with two major variants. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The first virus was fatal to anyone who was infected, and the second virus turned patients violent and zombie-like, the CDC Team called them \u201cVectors\u201d. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Helix<\/a>When the scientists at the Ilaria Corporation Arctic Biosystems base attempted to quarantine the area to control the outbreak, those affected by the virus held a mutiny and attempted to escape. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The mutiny caused any communication with those outside of the area to be cut off. Eventually, those infected began to improve in health, and those fully cured were able to control the Vectors. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Helix<\/a>Slowly but surely, life returned to normalcy, and the outbreak was revealed to be a massive scheme cooked up by the nefarious Ilaria Corporation. Then, everything exploded. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

At that point, we had little idea who had survived and who had been killed in the explosion.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Helix<\/a>As season two begins, we have discovered that Alan and Peter Farragut, Julia Walker and Sarah Jordan (Jordan Hayes<\/a>) have all survived. However, there is as yet no sign of Dr. Hiroshi Hatake (Hiroyuki Sanada<\/a>), Major Sergio Balleseros (Mark Ghanim\u00e9<\/a>), Anana (Luciana Carro<\/a>), and Tulok (Meegwun Fairbrother<\/a>). <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

There will obviously be deaths as a result of the massive explosion at the end of season one, but it would have been nice to have more closure for the characters who did not continue on to season two. Or will we see these characters again since Mark Ghanim\u00e9’s name appears on the credits? I hope so!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
