And just where in the heck is Simmons (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm4464857\/?ref_=ttfc_fc_cl_t5\"><span class=\"itemprop\">Elizabeth Henstridge<\/span><\/a>)?!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Calibri'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Calibri';\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri';\">Hartley (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0005128\/?ref_=ttfc_fc_cl_t19\"><span class=\"itemprop\">Lucy Lawless<\/span><\/a>) and Idaho (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0129551\/?ref_=ttfc_fc_cl_t11\"><span class=\"itemprop\">Wilmer Calderon<\/span><\/a>) have been killed. Lance Hunter is captured by the Army thanks to Talbot, who is now a general. In fact, he and his merry band of misfits do not even have a pot to pi$$ in. Not that there are very many SHIELD agents left. We are reminded that SHIELD is no more and Coulson\u2019s people are more like vigilantes rather than sanctioned government agents. He is still fundamentally good, but does not have the relentless optimism of a classical hero. Talbot is equally as likely to become a bad guy by the end of the series as he is to stand side by side with Coulson. \u00a0In other words, Talbot falls under the category of, \u201cthe enemy of my enemy is my friend\u201d. Both he and Coulson despise Hydra, the real villain of the series.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Agents of SHIELD02x02 Talbot\" href=\"http:\/\/abc.go.com\/shows\/marvels-agents-of-shield\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9883\" src=\"http:\/\/wormholeriders.net\/shield\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Agents-of-SHIELD02x02-Talbot.jpg\" alt=\"Agents of SHIELD02x02 Talbot\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wormholeriders.net\/shield\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Agents-of-SHIELD02x02-Talbot.jpg 640w, https:\/\/wormholeriders.net\/shield\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Agents-of-SHIELD02x02-Talbot-256x142.jpg 256w, https:\/\/wormholeriders.net\/shield\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Agents-of-SHIELD02x02-Talbot-320x177.jpg 320w, https:\/\/wormholeriders.net\/shield\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Agents-of-SHIELD02x02-Talbot-400x221.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Calibri'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Calibri';\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri';\">Talbot, is as likely to get in the way of the good guys of SHIELD, as he is to be of help, thus he becomes the road block at times, and the asset w<\/span><\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/abc.go.com\/shows\/marvels-agents-of-shield\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-9884\" src=\"http:\/\/wormholeriders.net\/shield\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Agents-of-SHIELD02x02-Talbot2.jpg\" alt=\"http:\/\/abc.go.com\/shows\/marvels-agents-of-shield\" width=\"287\" height=\"275\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wormholeriders.net\/shield\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Agents-of-SHIELD02x02-Talbot2.jpg 418w, https:\/\/wormholeriders.net\/shield\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Agents-of-SHIELD02x02-Talbot2-200x192.jpg 200w, https:\/\/wormholeriders.net\/shield\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Agents-of-SHIELD02x02-Talbot2-250x240.jpg 250w, https:\/\/wormholeriders.net\/shield\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Agents-of-SHIELD02x02-Talbot2-400x382.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 287px) 100vw, 287px\" \/><\/a><span style=\"font-size: 13pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Calibri'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Calibri';\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri';\">hen it works for him. Coulson recognises the type and plays to his interest by telling him that SHIELD will do the work and Talbot will get the promotions.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Calibri'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Calibri';\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri';\">The biggest moment of this episode, though, was the arrival of Skye&#8217;s (<a title=\"Learn more about Chloe Bennet on IMDB\" href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm4032297\/\" target=\"_blank\">Chloe Bennet<\/a>) father, played by <a title=\"Learn more about Kyle MacLachlan on IMDB\" href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0001492\/\" target=\"_blank\">Kyle MacLachlan<\/a>. Despite the many fan-theories, it now seems doubtful that he is playing an existing Marvel Universe character. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Calibri'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Calibri';\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri';\">He does not appear to resemble any of the current Marvel characters.\u00a0 Either they are burying his identity until they are ready to reveal it, or he is a completely new creation in the Marvel Universe.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Agents of SHIELD02x02 Raina picks up object\" href=\"http:\/\/abc.go.com\/shows\/marvels-agents-of-shield\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9878\" src=\"http:\/\/wormholeriders.net\/shield\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Agents-of-SHIELD02x02-Raina-picks-up-object.jpg\" alt=\"Agents of SHIELD02x02 Raina picks up object\" width=\"640\" height=\"359\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wormholeriders.net\/shield\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Agents-of-SHIELD02x02-Raina-picks-up-object.jpg 640w, https:\/\/wormholeriders.net\/shield\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Agents-of-SHIELD02x02-Raina-picks-up-object-256x143.jpg 256w, https:\/\/wormholeriders.net\/shield\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Agents-of-SHIELD02x02-Raina-picks-up-object-320x179.jpg 320w, https:\/\/wormholeriders.net\/shield\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Agents-of-SHIELD02x02-Raina-picks-up-object-400x224.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 13pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Calibri'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Calibri';\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri';\">I also like the addition of\u00a0Mack (<a title=\"Learn more about Henry Simmons on IMDB\" href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0005431\/\" target=\"_blank\">Henry Simmons<\/a>). The mix of characters has improved and the production values are much better. Even the reliable bus looks much more high-tech. This usually happens when the show runners realize their series has either just hit a wall, or is very close to that very unwelcome sound of crushed forward momentum.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Calibri'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Calibri';\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri';\">In this episode, under the category of mistake, oversight, or an uncaring attitude, the writers\/producers make the following errors:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Calibri'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Calibri';\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri';\">The SUV crashes into the bad guy and flips over. On this busy street, oddly, there is no traffic.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Calibri'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Calibri';\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri';\">May chases after the bad guy on a motorcycle. She is not wearing a helmet. According to motorcycle helmet laws in Virginia, all motorcycle operators and passengers must wear a helmet that is securely fastened to the head by either a neck or chin strap.This is not the way to be a super hero role model for young viewers.
