Welcome back Supernatural fans,\"CW<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Season seven, episode twenty-two \u201cThere Will Be Blood\u201d, aired on Friday 05\/11\/12 9pm ET. <\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Per The CW here is the episode synopsis. SAM AND DEAN SEEK OUT AN ALPHA \u2013 In order to defeat Dick Roman (guest star James Patrick Stuart) and the Leviathans, Sam and Dean must locate three key items.\u00a0 Castiel helps with one but for the last objects, the Winchesters must face two of their strongest opponents \u2013 an Alpha (guest star Rick Worthy) and Crowley (guest star Mark Sheppard).\u00a0 Meanwhile, Bobby (guest star Jim Beaver) tries out a new ghost trick that ends up being very dangerous.\u00a0 Guy Bee directed the episode written by Andrew Dabb & Daniel Loflin.<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Castiel is awake y\u2019all!\u00a0 Things are coming to a head!<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We pick up this episode where last week\u2019s episode left off.\u00a0 Dean (Jensen Ackles<\/a>) and Sam (Jared Padalecki<\/a>) swapped cases with Dick Roman last week and we still do not know what was in the one they have.\u00a0 Kevin Tran (Osric Chau<\/a>) is obviously an awesome student and plays the cello beautifully.\u00a0 While the cello is playing in the background we see the brothers arrive at an old warehouse type place with the case.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Kevin Tran is very concerned about doing perfectly on his SATs.\u00a0 Sam and Dean open the case to find a thick piece of rock.\u00a0 They are going to bust through it.\u00a0 With each strike thunder gets louder and louder.\u00a0 A storm is definitely a brewing.\u00a0 It is getting ugly.\u00a0 Suddenly a large bolt of lightning comes into the room where Kevin Tran is and strikes him.\u00a0 He is lifted by it and his eyes light up in gold.\u00a0 Many symbols appear to him.\u00a0 He is left unconscious.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Next we see Castiel (Misha Collins<\/a>) lying stiff as a board back at the insane asylum.\u00a0 You can hear the storm there too.\u00a0 Meg (Rachel Miner<\/a>) is watching him.\u00a0 Cas awakens.\u00a0 Things are getting real now.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Edgar (Benito Martinez<\/a>) is working and gets a call from Dick Roman (James Patrick Stuart) about the swapped out case I am certain.\u00a0 He is being told what he needs to do.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Kevin finally wakes up at 10:22AM to his mother (Khaira Ledeyo<\/a>) leaving him a voice mail knowing he is already at school about to take his exam.\u00a0 Uh oh spaghetti o\u2019s.\u00a0 He is rushing to leave when more thunder and his eyes light up gold again and more flashes of symbols.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

At the hole in the wall where Dean and Sam are, a cup moves and Dean asks if it is Bobby (Jim Beaver).\u00a0 EMF is going crazy, so it is probable.\u00a0 He may have drained any power he had with what happened last episode with Dick.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Sam explains that when they cracked the rock open to find another stone inside with many symbols on it that many things started to happen locally.\u00a0 They cannot crack the code on the stone.\u00a0 It does not match anything online.\u00a0 They know they need to get the stone somewhere safe until they can figure things out.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Meg calls Sam and tells him that Castiel is awake.\u00a0 She explains that he is different than when he first went to sleep.\u00a0 She has no idea why.\u00a0 She tells them if they want answers they need to drive out there.\u00a0 Dean figures out that about the time Cas woke up was about the time he cracked the rock open.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Kevin speaks to his friend, Channing (Lissa Neptuno<\/a>) on the phone because he missed his test and other activities at school.\u00a0 He then had the golden eyes and started talking in a way that made Channing realize he was not ok.\u00a0 He said he was chosen and had to keep on moving because he was not allowed to stop.\u00a0 It is amazing when you know someone well enough to know they do not speak that way and they would never miss a test or school.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Dean and Sam arrive at the coocoo\u2019s nest.\u00a0 Meg greets the brothers and takes them to Castiel.\u00a0 It was so funny to see him in his trench coat on top of his white crazy guy scrubs.\u00a0 Dean is just happy to see Cas walking and talking.\u00a0 Castiel is actually a pretty funny dude right now.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Sam shows Castiel the stone with the symbols.\u00a0 Sam explains that he woke up at the same time they opened the stone.\u00a0 Castiel feels it makes sense that if anyone frees \u201cthe Word of God\u201d from the vault of the earth it would be the Winchesters.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Castiel tells Dean and Sam that it is Metatron\u2019s handwriting.\u00a0 Metatron is an angel \u00a0and the scribe of God.\u00a0 He took down dictation when creation took place.\u00a0 Sam wants to know what it says, but Castiel cannot read it.\u00a0 When Meg starts bickering with Dean, Castiel says he does not like conflict and disappears.\u00a0 I might add that he dropped the stone and it cracked into pieces.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Sam picks up the pieces of the stone and puts them in a bag.\u00a0 He walks out the room talking to Meg because she threatens to leave and take Castiel with her.\u00a0 They hear a sound, go back in the room and see the bag is gone.\u00a0 Uh oh.\u00a0 It was none other than the chosen one, Kevin.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Kevin is running for dear life with Sam chasing him.\u00a0 It is actually pretty hysterical to see.\u00a0 He is zigzagging all over the place and Sam cannot quite catch up.\u00a0 Meg knocks Kevin on his a double s.\u00a0 Kevin apologizes for not being able to let go of the bag.\u00a0 He is petrified and does not even understand why he is where he is and what he is supposed to be doing.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Dean finds Castiel and is trying to get him to speak to him.\u00a0 He wants Cas to help them kill the leviathans.\u00a0 Cas decides he wants to play the board game \u201cSorry\u201d.\u00a0 He is saying the oddest things.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Kevin tells Sam that he is not sure what the stone is, but he knows it is for him and he is supposed to keep it.\u00a0 He realizes that he understands the writing on the stone.\u00a0 It is difficult because he has to focus on them and it hurts his eyes some.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Lights flicker and something is definitely up.\u00a0 Two angels show up.\u00a0 Hester (Emily Holmes<\/a>) and Inias (Adrian Glynn McMorran<\/a>).\u00a0 Hester sees Meg is a demon and flings her to one side of the room.\u00a0 She seems very upset.\u00a0 She says, \u201cStep away from the prophet!\u201d\u00a0 The prophet Kevin!!!\u00a0 She refers to him as \u201cthe soulkeeper of the Word on earth\u201d.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Hester and Inias are there to take Kevin with them.\u00a0 Meg cuts Inias with the only thing that will ever kill an angel.\u00a0 That special knife.\u00a0 Inias and Hester know Castiel.\u00a0 Hester is less than happy to see him.\u00a0 Dean got rid of all of the angels for a while using the sigil in blood on the wall and placing his hand on it.\u00a0 I like to call that the \u201cangel be gone button\u201d.\u00a0 They know they only have a few hours at most so they are heading to Rufus\u2019s (Steven Williams) cabin to figure some things out.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Kevin has been reported, \u201cMISSING\u201d.\u00a0 Sam saw a Detective Collins (Eric Floyd<\/a>) on the news talking about Kevin.\u00a0 The brothers are concerned that Bobby is going all \u201cvengeful spirit<\/em>\u201d and they are not sure what they need to do.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Meg is outside of the store at the gas <\/span><\/span>station and sees a couple of truck drivers talking.\u00a0 They look at her and what do you know\u2026they have black eyes.\u00a0 Demons!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Castiel calls Meg asking where they are and she starts to tell him and BAM\u2026there he is in the car scaring the piss out of poor Kevin.\u00a0 Bad enough he was sitting next to a demon, but now he is sitting next to an angel sitting next to a demon.\u00a0 It is quite comical to those of us that know the characters.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Dean wants answers.\u00a0 He wants to know why angels are after them.\u00a0 Castiel explains that Hester and Inias are part of the garrison\u2026his old garrison.\u00a0 He used to be their Captain.\u00a0 They are after them because the Word of God was revealed and the keeper of the Word has awoken.\u00a0 That keeper is Kevin.\u00a0 They are to take the keeper to the dessert where he will learn the Word away from others.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Sam and Dean need Kevin to translate the Word on the tablet because it may contain the information required to know how to kill the leviathans for good.\u00a0 They are at Rufus\u2019s cabin so Kevin can get to work.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Sam is concerned about Castiel and all he transferred from Sam\u2019s head to himself.\u00a0 Castiel is definitely not the Castiel we all know and love.\u00a0 He is almost like some hippie weirdo.\u00a0 Sam promises to help get him better.\u00a0 He does not seem to think there is anything wrong with him.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Kevin begins to completely freak out because he is just a kid and is not prepared for all of this.\u00a0 When I say freak out, I mean freak out.\u00a0 Like he cannot breathe and he is hyperventilating.\u00a0 It hurts him to focus on the Word and that is what put him in the frenzy.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Meg goes out to meet the truck drivers from earlier.\u00a0 They want to know why they should not just take her to Crowley right then because they do not want the Winchester\u2019s.\u00a0 She offers the angel instead.\u00a0 Castiel is supposed to be dead, as far as they know.\u00a0 She slices and dices those demons.\u00a0 Bye bye!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Meg returns to Rufus\u2019s cabin only to find herself in a devil\u2019s trap when she walks in.\u00a0 Dean and Sam are not taking any chances with her.\u00a0 She explains how simple she really is and that she just killed some of Crowley\u2019s demons to get them off of their tail.\u00a0 She says she also does not want to lose the only angel that will go to bat for her.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Hester and Inias show up at the cabin.\u00a0 The angel-proofing was not enough to stop them from getting inside.\u00a0 Hester is very upset and looks to Castiel as the worst way an angel can end up because he has fallen so badly.\u00a0 They want to take Kevin, the prophet to the dessert as they are supposed to.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Dean explains that he and Sam are trying to clean up what Castiel did and they will take care of Kevin.\u00a0 Hester is less than pleased and wants Dean to pay for Castiel\u2019s corruption.\u00a0 It seems she blames him for everything Castiel did or did not do. \u00a0She was about to put a hurting on Dean when Castiel steps in.\u00a0 She then turns her rage to Cas and was about to kill him.\u00a0 Meg stabs her with the angel killing knife and there you have it\u2026Hester is a goner!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Inias tells Castiel he wishes Castiel would go back with them.\u00a0 Castiel says that he is not part of the garrison anymore.\u00a0 Kevin has translated the stone for Sam and Dean.\u00a0 Inias tells two other angels to take Kevin home and watch him there.\u00a0 Kevin takes the stone with him.\u00a0 At the moment, no one knows where Meg is.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\nNow Sam is reading the translation.\u00a0 It says the only way a Leviathan can be killed is using a bone of a righteous mortal washed in the three bloods of the fallen.\u00a0 First they need the blood of a fallen angel.\u00a0 Castiel is \u201calways happy to bleed for the Winchester\u2019s<\/em>\u201d.\u00a0 He hands them a bottle of his blood.\u00a0 Dean asks what is he going to do and Castiel has no idea and then vanishes.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Mrs. Tran is talking to Detective Collins about where Kevin could be.\u00a0 She is worried sick.\u00a0 He is telling her to try to keep calm.\u00a0 The angles flap in with Kevin in front of the detective and his mother.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Detective Collins is no detective.\u00a0 He is a leviathan, Edgar more specifically.\u00a0 Leviathans can kill angels and he kills the angels that are supposed to be protecting Kevin.\u00a0 When Detective Collins turns around, he shows his real identity as Edgar and his words were, \u201cHello Kevin\u201d, in a very creepy voice.\u00a0 Then…credits!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Cliffhanger!\u00a0 I like where all this is headed and feel like we are about to get rid of season 7’s big bad…the leviathans.\u00a0 I am so ecstatic knowing we are getting a season 8.\u00a0 This is not all that common for shows to go this long, but Supernatural holds strong every time.\u00a0 Let me make sure to give credit where credit is due.\u00a0 A lot of credit goes out to the SPN fandom…we are the best fandom out there and we are going to keep it going.\u00a0 Where do you think Supernatural is headed?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
