Season seven, episode fourteen \u201cPlucky Pennywhistles Magical Menagerie\u201d, airs on Friday 02\/10\/12 9pm ET. CLOWNS, UNICORNS AND SHARKS, OH MY!\u00a0 Sam (Jared Padalecki<\/a>) is forced to confront a c<\/span><\/span><\/strong>hildhood fear when a case takes him and Dean (Jensen Ackles<\/a>) to Kansas to investigate Plucky Pennywhistles Magical Menagerie, a local pizza chain that hosts children\u2019s birthday parties.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Sam and Dean discover that the victims\u2019 children had recently been to the restaurant and drawn a picture of their worst fear, which then came to life to kill their parent.\u00a0 While Dean confronts the man behind the magic, Sam is left to deal with some very angry clowns.\u00a0 Mike Rohl<\/a> directed the episode written by Andrew Dabb<\/a> and Daniel Loflin<\/a>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Slice Girls:<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

We jump right into the action.\u00a0 Opening scene starts with a nice looking man, ok a very hot guy, played by (Derek Hamilton<\/a>) in his living room.\u00a0 A mystery person walks into the apartment.\u00a0 He hears something, but lets it go as nothing.\u00a0 Next he is flying across the room then\u2026slice one, slice two, slice three, and slice four!\u00a0 Blood is spattered everywhere.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

This is pretty gruesome, even for Supernatural.\u00a0 I LIKE IT!!!\u00a0 A very strange symbol was carved into the victim\u2019s chest.\u00a0 The camera zooms out and we see both of his hands and both of his feet were cut off.\u00a0 Yuck!\u00a0 Again, I like it!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Sam is driving and Dean is sleeping.\u00a0 That does not happen often, but it happens.\u00a0 Dean wakes up and the first thing he does is take a swig out of a flask, that happened to belong to Bobby (Jim Beaver).\u00a0 They discuss several men have been killed in the same manner in Seattle, Washington and they need to investigate.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Sam and Dean go to see the body of the man most recently killed.\u00a0 After hearing what Eddie (Craig Anderson<\/a>), the coroner\u2019s assistant had to say, Sam wants to eat and go back to the room to do some research.\u00a0 Dean wants to \u201cgo undercover, go mingle amongst the locals\u201d, meaning he wants to go to a bar.\u00a0 The brothers go do their thing.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Guess where Dean ends up?\u00a0 That is right\u2026a bar called The Cobalt Room.\u00a0 He is sitting with a woman named Lydia (Sara Canning<\/a>).\u00a0 There is some major flirting going on and talk of neither wanting a commitment.\u00a0 We all had to know where this was heading, except Dean has been a bit conservative lately.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

SCORE!!!\u00a0 Yes Dean did too, but that is not what I am referring to at the moment.\u00a0 MUSIC!\u00a0 We have not heard much known music this season, which the show is famous for.\u00a0 The next scene starts out nice and loud with \u201cShook Me All Night Long\u201d by AC\/DC.\u00a0 Dean and Lydia are getting busy.\u00a0 Although I kind of dig prudish Dean, this is the Dean we all know and love.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

While Dean was getting his groove back, another man, Jerry Price (Kevin Kazakoff<\/a>), was being sliced and diced.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

The next day Sam and Dean are back at it.\u00a0 They are at the crime scene of the latest victim, Jerry Price.\u00a0 They are introduced to Charlene Penn, the lead detective on the case.\u00a0 She gives the brothers a breakdown of the scene.\u00a0 It was the same scenario as the rest of the men.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Sam talks to a neighbor (Nick Ouellette<\/a>) and he mentions the victim had a one-night stand within the last few days and his wife found out about it.\u00a0 Dean realizes he left Bobby\u2019s flask at Lydia\u2019s house during his one-night stand, except he had her number and was actually calling her.\u00a0 Lydia said she had not seen it, but would call if she did.\u00a0 She said she was really busy and was blowing Dean off like a bubble in the wind.\u00a0 He seems to feel used, but Sam thinks it is comical.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Lydia was busy all right!\u00a0 Busy being very, very pregnant.\u00a0 What the @#$%?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Lydia was in a room with several women giving birth, after only one day or so I might add.\u00a0 It was very strange how she was told how to feel and what to do.\u00a0 A woman in the room, Madeline (Jill Teed<\/a>), named the baby girl Emma and then said \u201cNext!\u201d leading us to believe there were several women in line to give birth.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

So let us get this straight, sex one night, give birth the next day, and now Dean is a daddy?\u00a0 Oh my gosh!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The brothers are at the Department of Anthropology looking for expert help because their expert is dead.\u00a0 They are asking Professor Morrison (Harry Groener<\/a>), if he can tell them what the symbol being carved into the chests of the men mean.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Dean and Sam are really missing Bobby right now for more than one reason.\u00a0 Dean is stressing out because Lydia has not called back.\u00a0 He is going to go get his flask.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Dean shows up at Lydia\u2019s house and sees a toddler in a crib.\u00a0 A little girl.\u00a0 He assumes she is babysitting, but she says she is not.\u00a0 Dean takes a call from Sam and then hears this toddler talking and sounding much older.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Sam goes back to the crime lab.\u00a0 Detective Charlene Penn asks why the feds are there and then tells him to hurry up because they are working other cases too.\u00a0 Sam finds out that all the men involved went to the same bar, \u201cThe Cobalt Room\u201d, which is the same bar Dean went to and met Lydia.\u00a0 Each of the men went home with good-looking women just days before they were killed.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Madeline, along with a couple other women, shows up at Lydia\u2019s house to pick up (approximately five year old) Emma (Lilah Fitzgerald<\/a>) .\u00a0 She has a bag packed and Lydia just sends her daughter off with these people.\u00a0 Dean is watching from a vehicle across the way.\u00a0 Emma is now about five years old.\u00a0 She was just a toddler a couple hours earlier.\u00a0 He knows something supernatural is going on here.\u00a0 He watches as the women drive off with Emma.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Dean is trying to explain to Sam about what he saw and heard.\u00a0 Sam is just thinking that maybe the woman had kids she did not tell Dean about.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There are several girls in robes with the women who took (now approximately nine years old) Emma (Madison Bell<\/a>).\u00a0 They seem to be going through a ritual of some kind.\u00a0 They are being told that what they are doing is a tribute to their creator and protector.\u00a0 They hunt for her, they kill for her and they are going to consume that kill as a symbol.\u00a0 They are feeding these young girls flesh and milk.\u00a0 Grrross!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

The very arrogant Professor Morrison is with Sam and Dean going over the symbol being carved into the men\u2019s chests.\u00a0 He found a match.\u00a0 It is a variation of a symbol associated with a Greek Pantheon.\u00a0 Here is what he found\u2026the goddess Harmonia + Ares (the god of war) = The Amazons.\u00a0 They are a tribe of warriors.\u00a0 They are an exclusive female culture with no use for men, except for procreation.\u00a0 After they got pregnant, they killed the males, first cutting off certain body parts.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Detective Charlene Penn is on the phone with Madeline about Sam and Dean.\u00a0 She lets her know all of their IDs are fake and they are the ones that are wanted for a cross-country murder spree.\u00a0 She knows they are hunters.\u00a0 Madeline tells her that one of the brothers is already scheduled to be taken care of and they just add the other.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Dean is rummaging through Bobby\u2019s books looking for a Greek encyclopedia.\u00a0 Sam comes across some amazing Amazon lore.\u00a0 After discussing it with Dean, it becomes clear that Emma is probably Dean\u2019s child\u2026well sort of.\u00a0 If that is the case then Dean knows he has to \u201chang on to his hands and feet\u201d.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Now the girls look like teenagers.\u00a0 They are each being branded with that Greek symbol.\u00a0 They are being taught to endure pain so they can give pain.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Sam tells Dean that the women went for good looking, successful, men.\u00a0 Dean says Lydia may or may not have thought he was a rich, investment banker.\u00a0 Dean notices some papers moved.\u00a0 Sam says there was an open window and maybe a breeze moved the papers.\u00a0 There was no breeze.\u00a0 Dean wonders if maybe Bobby is helping.\u00a0 Sam says that they burned him though.\u00a0 Sam tells him it is not Bobby because that is what they want it to be.\u00a0 The paper on top of what was moved was in Greek.\u00a0 The only people that read Greek are Greeks, Bobby and Professor Morrison, according to Dean and Sam.\u00a0 Sam tells Dean to wait in the room and lock the door.\u00a0 He went on to see the professor.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Dean hears a knock at the door.\u00a0 His sweet teenaged Emma (Alexia Fast<\/a>) is at the door.\u00a0 She is 16 years old.\u00a0 She says she needs his help and he is the only one she can trust because he is her father.\u00a0 She actually seems very sincere and is completely honest.\u00a0 She said she did not want to be like those women.\u00a0 She is laying it all on pretty thick.\u00a0 She is definitely very good.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Sam finds out from Professor Morrison that the Greek writing says the same as all of the Amazon lore, except the women are not doing the killing.\u00a0 Instead the child born must kill her own father.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Sam bumps into Detective Charlene Penn when leaving the Anthropology Department.\u00a0 She lets him know she knows exactly who he is.\u00a0 Sam sees the Greek symbol on her wrist.\u00a0 The skin around her eyes turns red and she tosses him to the door.\u00a0 Out comes her knife, but Sam gets a chest shot before she can hurt him.\u00a0 His cell phone is crushed so he cannot warn Dean.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Dean is listening to Emma and looks in the fridge to offer her food.\u00a0 She drops her knife from her sleeve.\u00a0 He is fast enough to get turned around with his gun pointed at her.\u00a0 He is holding back though.\u00a0 That is so unlike Dean, but let us face it, it is his kid, supernatural or not!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Sam busts through the door, she looks at him and the skin around her eyes turns red, but it turns back to normal when she faces Dean.\u00a0 She pleads for Dean not to let Sam hurt her.\u00a0 Sam shoots and kills her!\u00a0 Dean looks like he is sad almost.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Dean and Sam arrive at the building where the girls were being kept, but everyone is gone.\u00a0 They are confused.\u00a0 The Amazons got away!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The brothers are driving and Sam lets Dean have it!\u00a0 He tells him he knew he was going to let Emma go.\u00a0 Dean says he was going to take care of it.\u00a0 Sam tells Dean his head is not in it.\u00a0 Dean is very defensive.\u00a0 Sam is just upset because he was really scared that it almost got Dean killed.\u00a0 This is how the episode ended.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

The Winchester brothers are too close to lose the other, especially after all of the loss they have already suffered.\u00a0 I wish there was a little more to think about here, but scenes from next week look like they are right back on the next case.\u00a0 Until then, my SPNFamily!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
