Welcome back Supernatural lovers! \"CW<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Season seven, episode sixteen \u201cOut With The Old\u201d, airs on Friday 03\/16\/12 9pm ET. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This was a phenomenal episode! Let me set the stage\u2026\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We begin this episode looking back four years.\u00a0 A woman, Ms. Nora Havelock (Nicole Oliver<\/a>), shows up at a cabin.\u00a0 Sam (Jared Padalecki<\/a>) says that she should not have come to see him.\u00a0 Sam takes her to some lair where Dean (Jensen Ackles<\/a>) has Jeffrey (Russell Sams<\/a>) tied to a chair.\u00a0 He is possessed by a demon that has been murdering women.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

The demon lets Jeffrey take control and talk to Sam and Dean.\u00a0 They tell him that to get information from the demon before exorcising him back to hell, they will have to \u201ccut into him<\/em>\u201d first.\u00a0 Jeffrey tells them that after what that demon made him do to all those women, they need to do whatever it takes.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Demon takes back over and the torture begins.\u00a0 They cut him using holy water on the knife.\u00a0 They punch him over and over and over again and then one more time.\u00a0 Then they exorcise the demon sending him back to hell.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Dean is driving Jeffrey to the hospital.\u00a0 He drops him off at the emergency room entrance.\u00a0 He specifically tells him not to tell anyone about demons.\u00a0 Dean tells Jeffrey to say he was mugged.\u00a0 Jeffrey looks like a failed experiment from the Island of Dr. Moreau.\u00a0 Talk about taking one for the team.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Now we are in Coeur d\u2019Alene, Idaho in the present day.\u00a0 The brothers are arriving to their new home for a few days.\u00a0 It is a motel room, of course.\u00a0 Oh great, Sam is hearing and seeing Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino<\/a>) again.\u00a0 We have not seen the likes of him for a bit.\u00a0 Sam presses against that old scar on his hand to keep in reality and get rid of Luci!\u00a0 He is gone for the time being.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Dean is on the phone with Frank Devereaux (Kevin McNally) trying to get information on Dick Roman (James Patrick Stuart).\u00a0 They have bupkis!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

They are in Idaho because of the similarities in deaths as four years ago when Jeffrey was possessed.\u00a0 Two women were killed in exactly the same way and the killings are very specific.\u00a0 So is it possible this demon is back from hell?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

While sleeping, the brothers hear their scanner go off.\u00a0 Another female was killed.\u00a0 It is time for the feds to take over.\u00a0 They are investigating.\u00a0 A detective recognizes them as federal agents and they cannot remember his name.\u00a0 Lucifer shows up and tries telling Sam that his name is Detective Sutton and after asking him the man says that his name is Sutton.\u00a0 Sam walks away and Lucifer, like a kid, sticks his tongue out at him.\u00a0 Super comical! I actually love it and his character.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

So on to check on Nora Havelock.\u00a0 She says she sells items for mail order, white magic only, but has a devil\u2019s trap freshly painted on her floor.\u00a0 She has heard about the new murders and is protecting herself.\u00a0 She has been translating some very old banishments and she is pretty good at it according to Sam.\u00a0 Nora also makes it clear that she tried to call Dean, but his phone is not working.\u00a0 He referred to it as \u201ca monster problem<\/em>\u201d.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Nora asks the brothers if they have found Jeffrey, \u201cthe man you almost beat to death<\/em>\u201d, because demons always go back to the same host if they can.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Next we see a group of men in session at a halfway house.\u00a0 Guiding the group is Alan (Daniel Bacon<\/a>).\u00a0 One of the men is very upset that he cannot have Cinemax.\u00a0 It was a small part, played very well.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Alan has Jeffrey, who lives in the halfway house, make an announcement to the group.\u00a0 He talks about picking up a rescue dog later today.\u00a0 He is going to show the whole house that he can handle responsibility.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Jeffrey picks up his new rescue dog and is walking down the street when he hears a sound from down an alley.\u00a0 He decides he should take a closer look.\u00a0 Dun, dun, dun!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Out pop Dean and Sam.\u00a0 They grab Jeffrey prepared to cut into him if he is possessed again.\u00a0 They had to be sure he was not.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Back at Jeffrey\u2019s place the brothers are trying to explain what is going on.\u00a0 They tell him about the killings.\u00a0 Dean tells him that they believe the demon that possessed him is back.\u00a0 Jeffrey looks really afraid.\u00a0 After all he went through four years ago, who could blame him.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Lucifer makes another appearance and basically tells Sam that he sounds silly sometimes when he is talking to people.\u00a0 Sam quickly presses his reality button.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Jeffrey is able to tell Dean and Sam who the next victim will be\u2026Marjorie Willis (Gwenm Carsely<\/a>).\u00a0 Sam is going to watch her and Dean is staying with Jeffrey.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Sam gets to a library where Marjorie Willis, the librarian works.\u00a0 Sam just watches, but Lucifer accompanies him.\u00a0 He is annoying Sam and is trying to get to him.
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Jeffrey tells Dean that when he left him at the hospital four years ago he had, three smashed fingers, five teeth out, a broken wrist, nose, cheekbone, collarbone, and had to get 160 stitches.\u00a0 He lost everything.\u00a0 He told what really happened and of course, people thought he was crazy.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Jeffrey then tells Dean that if the demon is not waiting to snatch up Marjorie yet, then he knows where he might be. He could be at a place where he would keep souvenirs and where he nested.\u00a0 Dean is ready to go check it out.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Back at the library Lucifer is taunting Sam with images of people bashing their heads on the tables.\u00a0 Sam presses the \u2018Lucifer Be Gone\u2019 button again.\u00a0 It all stops.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Lucifer is bored and wants Sam to talk to him.\u00a0 They see a man walk back toward a section where Marjorie had gone to put away some books.\u00a0 Could this be the demon?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Dean and Jeffrey go to the place where the demon used to go when he possessed him.\u00a0 Dean suddenly has no cell phone service.\u00a0 Jeffrey knew the general vicinity of the location, but said the demon would kind of cover his eyes when they walked in.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Sam hears some moaning.\u00a0 Well what do you know, it was not the demon that went back to get Marjorie.\u00a0 Naughty, naughty librarian was getting some nookie back there.\u00a0 She was talking weird librarian talk to her beau.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Dean and Jeffrey walk inside of a building.\u00a0 Jeffrey tells Dean to look for a red door down the hall and by golly there was one.\u00a0 It was a dank lair.\u00a0 They found the spot all right.\u00a0 There was a young man that, to me, resembled Jeffrey somewhat.\u00a0 He was chained to a chair.\u00a0 Something supernatural is going on here.\u00a0 Someone comes up behind Dean and drugs him with syringe in his neck.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Sam tries to call Dean, but the call goes straight to voice mail.\u00a0 He knows that something is up and it seems that even \u201cHalucifer\u201d is offering some help on the case.\u00a0 He points out that something is a bit different in the coroner\u2019s report.\u00a0 There are heavy traces of tranquilizers in all of the victims\u2019 blood.\u00a0 Demons are strong.\u00a0 They do not need to use anything, but their own powers to take someone out.\u00a0 Luci says that demon is not coming back to kill anyone.\u00a0 Maybe the person has a bad back?\u00a0 Sam called Dean\u2019s other phone and got his voice mail there too.\u00a0 He should have answered at least one of those calls.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Sam goes back to Jeffrey\u2019s room.\u00a0 He is searching for clues to tell him where Dean and Jeffrey might be.\u00a0 Lucifer is just throwing his two cents in to help Sam figure out some things.\u00a0 What a helpful little devil.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Sam finds a box hidden under one of Jeffrey\u2019s drawers.\u00a0 There is something written in Latin.\u00a0\u00a0 It is a demon-summoning spell.\u00a0 Lucifer is actually an amazing help to Sam through all of this.\u00a0 This is all part of his plan to gain Sam\u2019s trust, I am sure.\u00a0 He reminds Sam where he saw the handwriting before.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Sam breaks into Nora Havelock\u2019s place.\u00a0 Remember she has an affinity of translating very old banishments.\u00a0 When he gets into her office she hits him over the head with an object.\u00a0 Lucifer says, \u201cHay caramba, mi cabeza!<\/em>\u201d\u00a0 Translated into English, that means \u201cOh gosh, my head!\u201d\u00a0 Do you think Lucifer is making a point of saying \u201cmy head<\/em>\u201d? \u00a0I think this will become even more important in future episodes.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Sam is not unconscious.\u00a0 He calms Nora down and questions her about the handwriting.\u00a0 She is noticeably afraid.\u00a0 Lucifer tells Sam to hit her and shake her up to make her talk because she knows what happened to Dean.\u00a0 He is playing on Sam\u2019s emotions big time.\u00a0 Sam does threaten her to talk.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Nora is crying to Sam telling him, \u201cHe has my son!\u201d\u00a0 Sam wants to know why she would help bring back a demon and she said that it was not the demon, but Jeffrey.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Back at the torture chamber, Dean is tied up and still sounding pretty groggy.\u00a0 They show Nora\u2019s son completely out of it.\u00a0 His right ear has been cut off.\u00a0 Jeffrey is now asking Dean if ever thought that maybe he liked being possessed.\u00a0 That is some creepy stuff right there.\u00a0 He said that the demon was the \u201clove of my life\u201d.\u00a0 He felt powerful when he was the demon\u2019s meat suit.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Jeffrey explains that he had desires to hurt these women, but was too afraid.\u00a0 He would follow them, take down their address, but would do nothing more.\u00a0 That was until he was possessed.\u00a0 He is a serial killer.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Nora is explaining to Sam that she attempted contact when Jeffrey was in the hospital years ago, but he never responded.\u00a0 Not too long ago, he came to her saying he had done research and wanted help with a summoning spell.\u00a0 He was convinced they could bring the demon back.\u00a0 She sent him away telling him to get more help.\u00a0 Jeffrey kidnapped her son (Jeffrey Ballard<\/a>) the next day.\u00a0 She gave him anything he wanted, but did not let her son go because the summoning spell did not work.\u00a0 He cut her son\u2019s ear off and sent it to her.\u00a0 Nora has found a spell that is sure to work.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Nora explains that Jeffrey told her there was more work for her to do.\u00a0 When the Winchester\u2019s came into town, she had to send them to Jeffrey.\u00a0 He needs the blood of the exorcist, being Dean, for the spell to work.\u00a0 This is some heavy-duty mojo.\u00a0 Sam demands that Nora perform a tracking spell in order to locate her son and Dean.\u00a0 She is reluctant, but Sam asks her if she wants the ear or her son.\u00a0 Lucifer is instigating.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Jeffrey cuts Dean\u2019s arm to get his blood.\u00a0 He tells Dean how he feels like he knows him very well.\u00a0 He saw that Dean so badly wanted to save the world back then.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Jeffrey explains that he was so depressed, but with the help of Alan at the halfway house he is much better.\u00a0 He referred to him as \u201ca really good rehab therapist<\/em>\u201d.\u00a0 He realized he was nothing without his demon and knew he would have to get him back.\u00a0 Another part of the recipe to summon the demon required his poor new dog\u2019s heart.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Jeffrey summons the demon.\u00a0 He is not happy to find that the demon did not possess him.\u00a0 The demon decides to occupy Nora\u2019s son instead.\u00a0 He breaks free from his chain.\u00a0 The demon hugs Jeffrey and dances with him.\u00a0 He is pleased with his pupil.\u00a0 He captured a Winchester.\u00a0 Jeffrey does not want to be his pupil, but wants to be his all together.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

The demon notices Dean trying to get out of his bindings.\u00a0 He tells Dean he does not make people do what they do.\u00a0 He is just a \u201ctalent scout\u201d.\u00a0 He finds them and refines them, before they get to hell.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Sam shows up in time to save his brother.\u00a0 Of course he gets flung across the room.\u00a0 Shocker!\u00a0 The demon walks toward Sam only to find he cannot move any further.\u00a0 Bam\u2026a devil\u2019s trap!\u00a0 I know I was not the only one wondering how that got on the ceiling.\u00a0 It was the demon\u2019s lair and Jeffrey wanted the demon back, so why would it have been there.\u00a0 Only thing is either Sam or Nora sprayed it on the ceiling without anyone seeing or hearing them in the open space.\u00a0 It is okay though\u2026I am glad it was there.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Sam, Dean and Nora surround the demon.\u00a0 She wants her boy back.\u00a0 Jeffrey grabs a knife and walks toward them.\u00a0 Dean shoots and kills Jeffrey.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Uh oh\u2026Nora is doing the exorcism.\u00a0 She rid her son of that demon!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

The brothers get back to their motel room.\u00a0 Dean is exhausted and is going to sleep.\u00a0 Sam is about to lie down, but Lucifer shows up again.\u00a0 He does not want Sam to rest.\u00a0 He wants to talk.\u00a0 Sam is pressing that \u2018Lucifer Be Gone\u2019 button as hard as he can, but he is not going anywhere now.\u00a0 Lucifer tells Sam that it is because Sam let him in earlier.\u00a0 He tells Sam he cannot just use him and then banish him.\u00a0 He terrorizes Sam with fire around his bed.\u00a0 You can see him wanting help\u2026needing help, but he says nothing.\u00a0 The screen goes black with the sound of Lucifer laughing a creepy laugh.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

And now, back to \u201cHellatus\u201d!\u00a0 I cannot handle too much more of this.\u00a0 So glad the show has so many episodes that it runs through May 2012.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
