Season seven, episode eighteen \u201cParty On, Garth\u201d, airs on Friday 03\/30\/12 9pm ET.\u00a0 Per The CW<\/a> here is the episode synopsis.\u00a0 GARTH IS BACK TO HELP THE WINCHESTERS \u2013 Dean is surprised when he gets a call from Garth (guest star DJ Qualls<\/a>) asking for the brothers\u2019 help on a case.\u00a0 Sam and Dean discover they are battling a Shojo, a Japanese creature sent to seek revenge on enemies.\u00a0 The worst part about fighting a Shojo?\u00a0 You can only see it when you\u2019re drunk.\u00a0 Phil Sgriccia directed the episode written by Adam Glass. <\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Born-Again Identity:<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a>Sam (Jared Padalecki<\/a>) is running on train tracks, almost like he is running from something or someone.\u00a0 He looks terrible.\u00a0 He is absolutely exhausted.\u00a0 That is who he is running from\u2026Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino<\/a>).\u00a0 Sam has not slept in five days.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

He bumps into a drug dealer (Ryan McDonell<\/a>) in an alley.\u00a0 The drug dealer offers to knock him out (with drugs) to help him come down.\u00a0 He does not have a clue that Sam is not high, but is truly being chased by The Devil himself.\"Supernatural<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Sam awakens to a windshield being busted while he is sitting in the front seat of a car, sleeping next to the drug dealer.\u00a0 He jumps out and looks down, but there is no busted windshield.\u00a0 Guess who is right the?\u00a0 Luci again.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

There is no escape for Sam.\u00a0 Lucifer tells him the longest a normal person has gone without sleep is 11 days.\u00a0 He says, \u201cHey, you always wanted to be normal Sam.\u00a0 If you are, you\u2019ll be dead in a week!\u201d\u00a0 While Sam is running, a car hits him.<\/span><\/span>
\n
\n\"Supernatural<\/a> Dean (Jensen Ackles<\/a>) walks into a doctor\u2019s office while a nurse (Iris Paluly<\/a>) is scolding him for barging in.\u00a0 He wants to know why he cannot see Sam.\u00a0 He knows he has been involved in an accident.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Kadinsky (Bill Dow<\/a>) tells the nurse that it is ok.\u00a0 He is happy to speak with Dean about Sam.\u00a0 He tells him that Sam was treated for injuries and is now being held in the \u201cLocked Psychiatric Ward\u201d.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The doctor explains that Sam is experiencing a full on psychotic episode.\u00a0 Dr. \"Supernatural<\/a>Kadinsky takes Dean to the room where Sam is and Lucifer, of course.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Dean wants to find Sam help and Sam seems ready to die.\u00a0 He is just so tired.\u00a0 Lucifer is just sitting on the side instigating and teasing. \u00a0Dean cannot handle the \u201cgive up\u201d attitude that Sam is exuding.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Dean is on the phone with anyone he can to try to find some kind of help for Sam.\u00a0 He has come up with zilch!\u00a0 It seems hopeless.\u00a0 He tosses Bobby\u2019s journal on the table and goes to grab another beer out of the fridge.\u00a0 He hears the journal fall on the floor.\u00a0 Dean picks up the journal and sees a card has fallen out.\u00a0 He is led to call Mackey\u2019s Taxidermy and leave a message.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a>That is not weird.\u00a0 Do you think it was Bobby (Jim Beaver<\/a>) that knocked the journal to the floor so that business card will fall out?\u00a0 I will not put anything past this show.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Kadinsky visits Sam to see how he is feeling.\u00a0 Sam looks like he is falling asleep sitting up.\u00a0 The doctor asks how his pain is.\u00a0 Sam says it is about a three (on a scale from one to ten).\u00a0 Dr. Kadinsky says that a ten for him must be astronomical.\u00a0 Sam says he must have a high threshold.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The doctor says, \u201cthe worst is knowing that there\u2019s always a new ten.\u201d\u00a0 Sam is \"Supernatural<\/a>confused.\u00a0 He tells him that he has new torture in store for him today.\u00a0 It is not the doctor, but Lucifer.\u00a0 He just will not let up.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Although, extremely tired and going bonkers for real, Sam is looking particularly gorgeous this episode.\u00a0 I think it is the \u201cI have not gotten a hold of a razor in days\u201d kind of look.\u00a0 It suits him very well.\u00a0 The long brown hair with the scruffy beard looks very good on him.\u00a0 I am sorry, I will return to the regularly scheduled review now.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Food is brought to Sam\u2019s room.\u00a0 He decides he will try to eat.\u00a0 He takes one bite out of the sandwich, only to see maggots crawling.\u00a0 He drops the sandwich.\u00a0 A woman stops at his doorway (a patient), sees him looking insane, and then keeps walking. You can just see that she will be an important part of the episode tonight.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a>Dean gets a phone call back from Mackey (Shaine Jones<\/a>).\u00a0 He tells Dean that he knows of a man that goes by Emmanuel that is healing the sick and curing the crazy.\u00a0 He himself had a burned eye and said he needed healing.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

He figured he was a fake and tried to catch him on it, but he turned out to be the real deal.\u00a0 Mackey tells Dean that Emmanuel touched him and his eye was fixed.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Back in the mental ward, Sam is being tortured non-stop by Lucifer.\u00a0 Marin (Kacey Rohl<\/a>) is in Sam\u2019s room.\u00a0 She brought him a candy bar because she saw him throw his food the day before.\u00a0 She kind of freaks out and leaves the room because Sam starts covering his ears and twitching.\u00a0 Lucifer is making loud noises in poor Sammy\u2019s head.\"Supernatural<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Dean is searching for Emmanuel.\u00a0 He knocks on a door and asks if it is Daphne Allen\u2019s (Johanna Marlowe<\/a>) house and says he is looking for Emmanuel, Daphne\u2019s husband.\u00a0 The man that answered said he was Emmanuel.\u00a0 Dean immediately notices through the window that a woman is tied and gagged.\u00a0 It is not Emmanuel, but a demon (Mark Pawson<\/a>).\u00a0 Dean ganks him with his trusty demon-killing knife.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

When the demon lands at the bottom of the steps, he is right at the feet of our long missed, but not forgotten, Castiel\/Emmanuel (Misha Collins<\/a>).\u00a0 Dean is floored. We all were!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Emmanuel thanks Dean for protecting his wife.\u00a0 He says he saw the demons true face.\u00a0 He was shocked to hear that demons walk the earth.\u00a0 Daphne explains to Dean that Emmanuel has very special gifts.\u00a0 Emmanuel asks what Dean needed help with and he told him it was Sam.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Sam has actually fallen asleep for a minute when Lucifer throws fire crackers one after the other by his bed.\u00a0 It just will not stop.\u00a0 Lucifer has really gotten to Sam.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a>Dean is driving to the hospital with Emmanuel to see Sam.\u00a0 He is asking questions about Daphne and how they met.\u00a0 Emmanuel explains that Daphne was hiking near a river and she came across him drenched, naked and with no memory.\u00a0 She believed God wanted her to find him.\u00a0 He came up with the name Emmanuel by using bouncybabynames.com.\u00a0 That is hysterical!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Marin comes back to Sam\u2019s room and brings him another candy bar.\u00a0 He asks her to share it with him.\u00a0 Poor thing cannot even open the wrapper because he is so weak.\u00a0 Marin has been in the psych ward for five weeks already.\u00a0 He seems concerned about why she is there.\u00a0 She seems almost drawn to Sam, but somewhat reluctant to give out too much information.\"Supernatural<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Marin says she heard Sam is in the hospital because voices will not let him sleep.\u00a0 Sam explains it is just one voice.\u00a0 She says she hears a voice too.\u00a0 She gets very defensive when Sam asks about her setting a fire.\u00a0 She says, \u201cYou are crazier than I am.\u00a0 Charles Manson tells you what to do. At least it\u2019s my own brother\u2026\u201d.\u00a0 Her brother tells her to kill herself to be with him.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Emmanuel asks Dean what is wrong with Sam.\u00a0 Dean explains that it is not exactly a medical issue and that someone did this to him.\u00a0 Emmanuel senses his anger.\u00a0 Dean tells him that his friend Cas did this to Sam.\u00a0 He ironically thinks Cas is an odd name.\u00a0 So far, none of this has jogged Emmanuel\u2019s memory that he is Cas.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a>Dean tells Emmanuel to stay in the vehicle while he goes into a store.\u00a0 He is attacked by a demon.\u00a0 Then he sees a few more.\u00a0 One of the demons is killed with his knife.\u00a0 Who killed it, scaring off the other demons?\u00a0 Emmanuel did not do it.\u00a0 No freakin way!!!\u00a0 It was Meg (Rachel Miner<\/a>)!\u00a0 What the\u2026?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Meg has been on the prowl, like most other demons, looking for Emmanuel.\u00a0 When she found him, he was with Dean.\u00a0 She notices that he looks just like Castiel.\u00a0 Dean tells her that Emmanuel has no idea he is Cas.\u00a0 Meg is in desperate need of friends so she wants to help Dean.\u00a0 She needs Emmanuel so she will do what she needs to.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Emmanuel sees Meg and immediately recognizes that she is a demon.\u00a0 Dean introduces her as a friend.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Sam sees Marin walking down the hall at the hospital and he stops her.\u00a0 He tells her he believes that she did not start the fire.\u00a0 He asks questions to figure out what they are dealing with.\u00a0 She does not see her brother, but hears him.\u00a0 Her brother was cremated, but she has a bracelet he made her while he had a cut.\u00a0 He probably bled on it, which is really good in the case of putting a ghost to rest.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Emmanuel seems very uncomfortable in the car with Meg being there.\u00a0 The silence is causing him to think there may be something he should know that they are not telling him.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Marin is able to swipe a lighter off of Marcus (Eli Goree<\/a>), the orderly.\u00a0 They make a circle with salt.\u00a0 Lucifer is blowing at the salt to break open the circle.\u00a0 Sam is the only one that can see this.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Sam warns Marin to stay inside the circle with him no matter what happens.\u00a0 He asks for the bracelet and then it happens.\u00a0 The\"Supernatural<\/a> lights flicker and they can see their own breath.\u00a0 Her brother is coming.\u00a0 Marin\u2019s brother (Kal James<\/a>) appears.\u00a0 He asks her not to do this.\u00a0 Sam burns the bracelet and her brother is gone.\u00a0 He is now at rest.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Sam tells Marin to leave because with the ruckus, people would be coming.\u00a0 Sure enough Marcus shows up.\u00a0 He and another orderly come to take Sam away.\u00a0 Dr. Kadinsky is checking on Sam, but Lucifer is right behind him making him more insane.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Dean, Emmanuel and Meg arrive at the hospital only to see there are several demons waiting outside.\u00a0 Emmanuel is perplexed about how they can get around these demons, especially because Dean only has one demon-killing knife.\u00a0 Meg keeps hinting toward there being another way to get past the demons.\u00a0 That would be for Castiel (Emmanuel) to touch the heads of the demons, which would kill them.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Emmanuel overhears Dean talking to Meg about not telling him who he really is.\u00a0 He realizes he must know them from the past.\u00a0 He wants the truth and thinks he can take it.\u00a0 Meg shouts out, \u201cYou\u2019re an angel!\u201d\u00a0 Emmanuel says, \u201cI\u2019m sorry, is that a flirtation?\u201d\u00a0 She lets him know that he is of the species of \u201cAngels\u201d.\u00a0 He is still confused as to why Dean would not want to tell him that because that sounds like it would be a good thing<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Emmanuel quickly realizes he is Dean\u2019s best friend, Castiel.\u00a0 Meg tells Castiel that he can smite all of those demons because he is that powerful.\u00a0 He does not remember how to do that.\u00a0 Dean lets him know that it is inside of him.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Castiel is ready to try and smite!!!\u00a0 And smite he does!!!\u00a0 With each demon he kills, he gets more of his memory back until it is all revealed.\u00a0 He cannot believe all he has done in the past.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Marcus is wheeling Sam down a hall.\u00a0 We finally get to see what had been in the previews from two weeks before.\u00a0 Where was he taking him?\u00a0 Marcus tells him they are in a room for electro-shock therapy.\u00a0 He set the machine to a very high setting and tells Sam they are going to experiment a little.\u00a0 Something is not right with Marcus.\u00a0 Oh crap\u2026he is possessed.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a>Sam is being electrocuted.\u00a0 There is no therapy going on there. \u00a0Uh oh\u2026bye bye Marcus! Castiel took care of him.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Castiel tries to heal Sam.\u00a0 Sam only sees Lucifer.\u00a0 Castiel knows that his healing touch will not work on Sam.\u00a0 There is nothing Cas can do to because the wall crumbled and got crushed to dust. \u00a0Basically, it sounds like Sam will be crazy until he dies.\u00a0 Then Castiel says he may be able to shift whatever is going on in Sam\u2019s head.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Castiel touches Sam\u2019s head and has everything extra going on in there shifted to \"Supernatural<\/a>himself.\u00a0 Sam is now fine and notices Castiel is there and what does Castiel see?\u00a0 He sees his brother Lucifer.\u00a0 He immediately looks traumatized.\u00a0 Someone else gets to have the crazy all over them.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The brothers leave Castiel at the hospital where he would be most safe.\u00a0 It is almost odd to see Sam look so normal in this episode.\u00a0 Castiel felt so ashamed and awful about what he did to Sam that he felt it would be best to transfer it to himself.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Supernatural<\/a><\/p>\n

Dr. Kadinsky (Bill Dow) is interviewing a new nurse.\u00a0 Meg Masters at your service.\u00a0 This must all be part of a wild scheme. How long will this last though?\u00a0 Does Sam have angelic powers now? <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
