WormholeRiders News Agency<\/a> welcomes Rachel Luttrell<\/a>, famous for her role as Teyla Emmagan in Stargate Atlantis<\/a>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Rachell Luttrell<\/a> was born in Dar Es Salaam<\/a>,\u00a0Tanzania<\/a>, the daughter of Veronica Makihio Shenkunde Luttrell of the\u00a0Washambala tribe<\/a>\u00a0of the\u00a0Usambara Mountains<\/a>, and Dr. William Leon Luttrell from\u00a0Bossier City<\/a>,\u00a0Louisiana<\/a>. She is one of four daughters.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Rachell’s family emigrated to Canada<\/a>\u00a0when she was five years old, and she was raised in\u00a0Toronto<\/a>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Her family has several musical roots; her father, a former member of the critically acclaimed\u00a0Toronto Mendelssohn Choir<\/a>, trained Luttrell’s soprano voice. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Rachel Luttrell<\/a> studied ballet at the Russian Academy of Classical Ballet School and also studied piano at The Royal Conservatory of Music<\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0Toronto.<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
